In a special ceremony in front of their proud parents, other children and Play-Time staff, seven happy children received their very own Bibles last Saturday.

They are graduating from the youngest (ages two to five) group into the Play-Time sibling group (ages five to 10). One of them was a 10-year-old graduating out
of the program.

The party that followed had the other children blowing bubbles for the graduates and joining in for the eating of a special graduation cake made by Kitchen Princess Teresa.

Two weeks earlier, three other children had already received their Bibles because they could not be present on this festive day.

Play-Time staff, consisting of Jocelyn Carr, Krista Ritchie, Teresa Hennessy and Tryntje Eisen, are looking back on a great season and lots of special moments with the children.

Play-Time for Preschoolers and Kindergartners is held in two nine-week sessions: one between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and one in the spring. It is held on Saturdays from 2-4 p.m. at the Kincardine Davidson Centre, where parents can drop off their children free of charge.

The program offers free play, Bible stories, crafts, snacks and songs, and closes with a circle time. The next session starts Oct. 15. For information, call Tryntje Eisen at 519-395-2415.
