Now that Spring has finally sprung, we can look forward to summer activities. 

Mark your calendar - July 24 - Bruce County Beef Barbecue at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Tickets will be on sale in June from any Tiverton Agricultural Society member, or phone Dianne at 519-368-7114, or Doreen at 519-368-7768. 

Watch for our banners along Tiverton's main streets advertising our 150th Fall Fair. Start thinking about your yard displays featuring our theme: "150 and Still Kickin". 

We are encouraging more family commercial floats to be entered in the parade. Our fair is being extended to three days this year. Be sure to watch this column for the added events to be held Sunday. 

We are flowing over to the Sports Complex with exciting demonstrations and events both Saturday and Sunday. 

The Fall Fair book will be on the website soon - tivertonagsociety.com. 

Plan to attend the free outdoor movie suitable for family entertainment, Aug. 12. 

To have your seeding and established hay crops judged, contact Jim Young at 519-368-7177. 

The Monday afternoon euchre parties at Knox Presbyterian Church will resume in the fall after the fair.

The next regular meeting of the Tiverton Agricultural Society is on June 21, 7:30 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. See you there!
