Despite cold temperatures, more than 140 golfers turned out on Thursday, June 2, for the 19th Annual Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament at the Chippewa Golf and Country Club in Southampton

The event raised funds for Grey Bruce Crime Stoppers and all green fees for the tournament are donated back to Crime Stoppers by Chippewa owner, Geza Kocsis.

Each year, several renown athletes also take part in the day.  This year, Sherri Piper of Canada's Olympic Gold Medal winning Women's Hockey Team , former NHL star, Pierre Pilote, today's NHL Erik Peterson and Eric Hawerchuk took part in the fundraiser.
