If you enjoy smiling, laughing, clapping your hands and singing along, you are going to love the Kincardine Community Singers spring concert, "Songs That Make You Smile."

The show will be held June 4 and 5, 7:30 p.m., at Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine.

There are more than 70 singers in the choir and the music is tremendous, featuring such hits as "I Want To Be Happy," "Happy Talk" (from "South Pacific"), "The Bare Necessities," and "The Wells Fargo Wagon."

The choir is directed by Patt Lowry, with accompanist John Low. Special guests at this concert are the Howlin' Dog Vintage Jazz Band, and the Makin' Waves a-cappella ladies choir from Port Elgin.

Former accompanist, Pat Fox, is joining the group at the start of the second act, for a sing-a-long.

And to everyone's delight, Dave and Miriam Barrie are doing a piano duet (or piano duel); and perennial favourite Jim Thomas will be hamming it up in a couple of numbers.

Admission is $12 in advance, and $15 at the door; children under the age of 12, $5. Tickets are available at Jerome Flowers in downtown Kincardine, and the Village Flower Shop, Ripley.
