The Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board presented "Applause Breakfast Awards" to this group of students May 2 at the Klages Mill in Chesley

At its May 24 meeting, the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board was treated to a special presentation by the students of the Partnership Class at Mother
Teresa School Walkerton.

They were accompanied by their teacher, Ms. Amy Kieffer, and Educational Assistant, Patricia Fischer.

This unique class is the result of a special partnership with the Provincial Schools branch of the Ontario Ministry of Education, and was implemented as a pilot for the 2010/2011 school year. The pilot focuses on the use of technology to advance the literacy skills of students withLearning Disabilities.

Sacred Heart High School’s Megan Schlorff recently travelled to California for the International Science and
Engineering Fair as a member of Team Canada. Megan is also the recipient of the Toyota Earth
Day Scholarship, following in the footsteps of Brandon Koebel last year. Congratulations Megan!

The Relay for Life is set to take place on Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Sacred Heart High
School. All board members are strongly encouraged to attend at some point and show support, as everyone works toward a common goal of fighting cancer.

The Doogie Cup took place at Sacred Heart on April 29. Many teams were in attendance and the weather was great. As always, the memory of Allison Dugas lives on.
