Mark it on your calendar – the best bake sale around, organized by the Tiverton Park Manor Auxiliary, will be held Saturday, July 2, at 8:30 a.m., in the Inverhuron Lower Park. Knox Presbyterian Church Restoration Committee is hosting a Hamburg/Sausage Lunch on Monday, June 20, at 12 noon. Sausages, homemade hamburgers, tarts and cookies are offered. Good will offering will be accepted. All are welcome. The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Garage Sale on Saturday, June 25, at the church from 8 a.m. To 1 p.m. Donations (no clothing please) can be left at the church on Thursday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to noon, and 6-8 p.m., and Friday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding its Summer Salad Supper on Tuesday, July 12, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. The Tiverton Lions Walk of Memories tree dedication will be held on Sunday, June 26, at 2pm And don’t forget about the Old Diggers Mushball Tournament to be held July 8-10. TIVERTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WMS The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church Women's Missionary Society held its Friendship meeting on Wednesday, June 8, with June Mackenzie presiding. June opened the meeting with some quotes on Friendship. After the ladies sang the hymn, "What a friend we have in Jesus," June read a story "Everybody needs a Friend". Velma Hendry read the Scripture, followed with a prayer by Jean Dent. The roll call was a verse about Friendship.

The guest speaker
was Lauren Tickner who is from Melbourne, Australia, and currently
visiting with Jessie Mackenzie. The meeting was closed after Ruby
Brown read "Have you ever received a Friendship Poem". All
the members enjoyed a nice lunch prepared by Alberta Smith and Velma
