The village is looking great thanks to the volunteers for Communities in Bloom. Planting day was on Saturday but it doesn’t end there. If you would like to volunteer to pull a few weeds throughout the summer, call Laurie Convay. Congratulations to Mary Anne Takken as she hit the Forty List this weekend. Welcome to Kerri Warwick as she is spending a week sunning herself at the Lake House. Kerri is the older sister of the infamous Kelly Brown. The Old Diggers Mushball Tournament will be held July 8-10. Contact Mike Catto at 368-7699 to enter a team. The Ladies Ball organization is planning to erect a ‘picnic shelter’ located between the ball diamonds to help with accessibility and tournaments.
