We are so thankful that no one was hurt after all the nasty weather last week. Once again, the neighbourly spirit rallied forth to help clear up fallen trees on the weekend.

Tuesday evening, lots of trees and branches came down in Ripley and a shed was picked up and relocated with the wind. Wednesday afternoon, a strong wind hit the 12th of Huron and did major damage with trees down. But with lots of help and many helping hands, the mess was cleared away.

Hopefully we will get a clear spell in this weather so that the farmers will be able to get back on the land and start the haying, and it will warm up enough to work on our vegetable and flower gardens.
