Gail Colwell of Victoria, B.C., visited with Shirley Gilders of Clinton and Mary Anne Kukoly this week.

The Ripley and District Horticultural Society hosted its spring flower show Wednesday. Lots of beautiful exhibits and the baking and plant table were well-appreciated too. Thank you, ladies, for a great showing!

Knox Presbyterian Church's Annual Fish Dinner was enjoyed by those in attendance and those in the field!

The Purple Grove Women's Institute planning meeting was hosted by Marilyn Reid Wednesday evening. Looks as if it will be a very interesting year of programs and busy times.

Sympathy is extended to Arnie and Diane Clifford and families on the passing of her aunt, Helen MacGregor.

Bette MacLeod had a lovely visit and enjoyable trip to Stratford with her friend, Pam Pumber of Toronto, Tuesday.

Congratulations to Viola Bridge of Kincardine who celebrated her 90th birthday with her family and friends Sunday.

Finally, some beautiful weather to enjoy and Sunday was just right to sail, walk along the beach and tour our many lovely flower gardens in the area. Remember to stop along the way and smell the roses.
