Lavender Verbena Tea
Mix 1 cup lemon verbena leaves and 3 tbsps lavender flowers thoroughly,
and store in an air tight container. For a cup of tea, use 1tsp in 1 cup
of boiling water. Steep 3 mins, take the leaves and set aside and re-use
when you want another cup of tea. Keep using until all flavour is gone.
Try this as iced tea.
White tea primarily hails from mainland China where it's plucked once a
year in early spring. Its light, delicate flavour comes from minimally
processed tender young buds and leaves covered with tiny, silvery hairs.
White Peony Tea contains one bud for every two leaves, while Silver
Needles, the creme de la creme of white teas, is made entirely from
downy buds picked within a two-day period in early spring.
