The Bluewater Summer Playhouse season continues with the production of Funny Farmers which opens July 19 at the Kincardine Arts Centre.

Funny Farmer Kevin Riordan and his barnyard buddies are coming to Kincardine with a bumper crop of home town humour.

This highly-successful touring production has been giving theatregoers all across Ontario a hilarious look at the semi-fictional township of “Quenkardine” in beautiful “Spruce County”.

You are cordially invited to enjoy an afternoon or evening of tall tales told by men short on brains. Laugh along with them when their herd of dairy goats rampages through the lovely backyard gardens of “Shiverton”.

Hear them argue about the ill wind and hot air blown in by the Wind Farms popping up in “Peeswater”. Come see the towns of “Dipley” and “Noluck” where their favourite pastime is complaining about Mayor Harry Drainor and his Deputy Annie Easely.

Funny Farmers runs July 19-22. For tickets or more information, contact the Bluewater Summer Playhouse Box Office by calling 519-396-5722, or toll-free at 1-877-396-5722.

Bluewater can also be contacted via E-mail at: boxoffice@bluewatersp.on.ca; and is now on both Twitter and Facebook. Check out BluewaterSPH on Twitter, or add it on Facebook at Bluewater Summer Playhouse.

The professional theatre is located in the Kincardine Arts Centre at 707A Queen Street. Tickets for matinee performances are $22 plus tax each, and tickets for evening shows are $24 plus tax each.
