Last year's Survivors' Victory Lap was led by the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band
Kincardine's Relay for Life will be held Aug. 12-13 at the Davidson Centre track.

The annual event is the Canadian Cancer Society’s signature fund-raiser. It’s a 12-hour overnight walk-a-thon which symbolizes that cancer doesn’t sleep. Held in communities across the province, it is truly inspiring and a great way to FIGHT BACK against cancer.

There are many volunteer opportunities with the Relay for Life. Share your talents and experience to help make Kincardine's sixth event the most successful and fun year by joining the Relay steering committee or by volunteering in other aspects of the relay.

Relay For Life is an opportunity to make a personal contribution, take action and fight back against a disease that is all around us today, affecting families with no age limit. It’s an unforgettable experience.

Sign up a team now, but save your feet for the relay! On-line registration – www.relayforlife.ca/kincardine. Pledges can be collected quickly from the comfort of your home. Keep track of your pledges – anywhere, anytime.

Cancer survivors are invited to register for the Survivors’ Victory Lap and reception at: ww.relayforlife.ca/kincardine. Contact Anne Bromfield, survivor chairperson, at 519-396-7348, for more information. Miller Insurance is the survivor sponsor for the Relay for Life event in Kincardine.

Luminaries are special candles placed in bags and carry the names of cancer survivors and loved ones lost. At sunset, luminaries placed around the track are lit in HONOUR of cancer survivors and IN MEMORY of those who have lost the battle against cancer.

Luminaries can be purchased through the Scotiabank in Kincardine or on-line at www.relayforlife.ca/kincardine. Contact Brenda Bursa, luminary chairperson, at 519-396-3328.

For more information about the Relay for Life, contact event chairperson Patricia Holder at 519-395-5651.

TOGETHER, LET’S FIGHT BACK AND HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
