Huron Heights School hosts Play Day for Grade 3 students

Grade 3 students from Elgin Market Public School had a chance to check out the classrooms and meet students and staff at Huron Heights Public School during a Play Day Wednesday afternoon.

The Grade 3s and Grades 2 and 3 French Immersion students will be advancing to Huron Heights in the fall.

The Play Day was organized by the Grade 7 students, while the Grade 6s were team captains. Students from Grades 4-6 at Huron Heights joined in the fun and games.

There were 14 teams and seven stations of activities, including an obstacle course, building a tower of playing cards, pictionary, ping-pong, board games, music games, and a rest station with refreshments.
