The recent opening of 'The River Mouth Speaks' exhibit at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre has touched a chord with many readers.

The exhibit is a cooperative effort between the Town of Saugeen Shores, Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON) and the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.  It is a result of the archaeological discovery of an ancient site of First Nations artifacts at the mouth of the Saugeen River.

Below is a letter that was received where the reader has only positive things to say about the recent effort between the two communities.

Letter of July 25, 2011:

Randall Kahgee and Mike Smith are to be commended on their efforts on bringing the two communities of Saugeen Shores and SON closer together.

Only good can come from their actions.  There are many joint services that should be considered for the future that could financially benefit us all.

Congratulations Randy and Mike
