With items donated from throughout the community of Saugeen Shores, the Foundation raised more than $2,000.

"We decided," said Foundation President Mary Ann Weickert, "that we would combine our efforts with the 'Pretty in Pink' fundraising group.  Each year, they also hold a fundraising event in support of Breast Cancer and, because all efforts this year are being directed toward the Mammography Campaign for new equipment, we decided to combine our monies with Pretty in Pink which, in turn, will all go toward the Campaign."
