 'Art in the Alley' always a popular event in Southampton

The weatherman cooperated as the Southampton Art Gallery and School held its annual outdoor art show, 'Art in the Alley', on Saturday, July 16th with 24 artisans taking part. Visitors flocked to the show to take in the wide variety of artistic creations from paintings to carvings and handcrafted jewellery to photography.
Gordon McLeod with his handcrafted jewellery Demonstrations included weaving and caricatures and the show also featured lantern making sponsored by Meridian in preparation for the upcoming 'Lantern Night' at Fairy Lake.
Creating lanterns was a popular stop for the young set Southampton Rotary also helped out with their annual BBQ.
