The Summer Slam Day Camp was off to a great start with 37 children, ages four to 11, registering for the week of fun and activities held at the Tiverton Baptist Church.

Led by Mike and Tanya Houser and their high school youth group team from Compass Point Bible Church in Burlington, the camp includes games, crafts, songs, lessons, and snacks.

Helping out are several adults and youth from Tiverton Baptist Church.

The camp runs 9 a.m. to noon each day, with a special performance at noon on Thursday for families of the camp participants.

This is the eighth year the Housers and their team have conducted the camp in Tiverton.
