Hundreds turned out for the second annual Rotary Summer Fun in the Park Saturday in Victoria Park.

The highlights of the day included the sumo wrestling, giant inflatable rides, petting zoo, pony rides, and the opportunity to take a ride in the SISCAR (Simulated Interactive Stock Car Auto Racing) vehicle.

New this year, the SISCAR hails from Peterborough and is owned by Jake and Tracey Friesen. For more, check the website at siscar.ca

There were numerous vendors, exhibits and displays on hand, as well as the pie wheel, games of chance, the Beat the Clock pit stop, baseball throwing and hockey shooting, a barbecue, and face-painting.

The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority booth urged people to take the water taste test and determine which water was treated and which was not. One container held Kincardine treated water, one contained treated well water, and the third was from an artesian well.

MacGregor Point Provincial Park staff urged youngsters and adults to try spraying like a skunk, using water bottles. They could also touch a real skunk pelt and other animal pelts on display.
