It looked like a Council of 'yesteryear' 100 years ago

Saugeen Shores Town Council held its Monday, August 8th meeting at Southampton Town Hall in celebration of the building's 100th Anniversary.

Mayor Mike Smith, Town Council and Staff were dressed in their 'Sunday best' in keeping with their predecessors of 100 years ago.

Outside, Town Crier Neil Menage, officially welcomed visitors to the anniversary council meeting.

Cake, coffee and punch opened the meeting as the public filled the town hall to hear two deputations, one of which revolved around the Town Hall and is possible renovation improvements.
