Award winning artist-speaker Cheryl-Ann Webster is the creator of the Beautiful Women Project - a life size sculptural exhibit coming to the Southampton Art Gallery. Described as a “much needed revelation of truth” her Beautiful Women Project, consists of 120 life-size hand cast clay sculptures of real women age 19-91 and depicts natural beauty in all its varying shapes and sizes. 

Each unique sculpture is decorated to represent each woman's life journey or spirit, passing along their wisdom and courage to those who view the work.

Cheryl-Ann Webster’s Beautiful Women Project will provide our community with a new opportunity to experience life-size sculpture, critically engage in contemporary art practices and reflect upon the presentation of body image in Canadian media.

Cheryl-Ann’s work on self-acceptance has been showcased across Ontario throughout the past 6 years and is an exciting tribute to pay homage to the special centenary anniversary of International Women’s Day occurring in 2011.

All 120 sculptures which create Cheryl-Ann Webster’s Beautiful Women Project will be on display at the Southampton Art Gallery August 6th-September 17^th 2011 and these sculptures were last exhibited as the feature artistic installation the 2010 CNE in Toronto at “THE EX”.

 Cheryl-Ann Webster’s Beautiful Women Project is open 7 days a week at the Southampton Art Gallery and is suitable for all ages. Admission by donation.  Exhibit runs August 6^th-September 17^th 2011.
