A good crowd turned out for the open house held Sunday afternoon at Lowry Stone, located at the corner of Lake Range Drive and the 10th Concession of Huron-Kinloss. People were checking out the cast stone pieces available, including fountains and table sets, as well as the many decor items for the home and garden. They were also encouraged to enjoy barbecued hot dogs and cake to celebrate the new business which opened in May. The children had fun jumping in the inflatable bouncy castle outside, while the adults toured the showroom and work room, viewing the stock available for stone masonry work, done by Lowry, and the catalogues offering a variety of colours and styles for the various cast stone pieces. It was the perfect opportunity for Lowry and Haynes, and their employee April Duvall, to showcase the store and make several sales.
