Despite the restoration work being done on the Point Clark Lighthouse tower this summer, the 21st annual corn roast and car show will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, 4- 8 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come see the national historic site and take in the Cruise-in car show, while enjoying fresh corn-on-the-cob, salads, hamburgers, and dessert.

Live entertainment will be provided by local performers Lee Grant and Jim Hall. Again this year, there will be a live amateur radio broadcast from the base of the tower, and a local kite flyer.

Appreciation to the corporate sponsors who help make this event possible each year: B.M. Ross and Associates, Georgian Bay Fire and Safety, Sparlings Propane, Heritage Restorations, and Snobelen Beach Cleaning Services.

Bring your lawn chair and plan to stay awhile and enjoy the early evening activities along the shores of Lake Huron.
