Liz Coates and Aaron Lewis of Kincardine have some extra money to put toward their post-secondary education.

Each received a $1,000 scholarship from the Kincardine Theatre Guild memorial scholarship fund, as presented Thursday morning by guild president Shirley Bieman, and selection committee Leise Peddie, Bonnie Bryan and Mhairi Walsh.

Liz and Aaron have worked in guild productions - both on and off stage - and are worthy recipients.

In a couple of weeks, Liz is off to Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo where she plans to study vocal music.

Aaron is headed for Fanshawe College in London this fall, studying pre-health. He has also been offered a spot with the London Community Players.
