The third annual Artful Hands Show and Sale is slated for Sept. 16-18 at the Walker House Heritage Centre, Kincardine.

Local artists in the past hosted a Studio Tour; however, three years ago they decided to put all their work together in one place. The Walker House was an excellent choice and the event has been drawing ever-increasing interest, and far larger attendance and sales than at a studio tour.

People seem to enjoy seeing such an excellent selection by talented, professional local artists and artisans, and it's wonderful to see the work displayed throughout the main floor of Kincardine's Walker House.

This annual event is organized by a volunteer, non-profit committee of artists, and sponsored by grants from Enbridge and the Municipality of Kincardine, with matching funds through artist booth fees.

Organized by the Kincardine Business Improvement Area (BIA) as a fall event, the opening reception is a Kincardine and District Chamber of Commerce After-Hours event. Artful Hands is also promoted through Kincardine Tourism.

For full details see the poster on the Kincardine Times event planner or check the website at www.artfulhands. org

The show will include a large selection of oil paintings, watercolors and acrylics, as well as ceramic art, stained glass, pottery, turned wood, jewellery, designer clothing, and much more by a group of 21 artists and artisans.
