A couple of antique cars were on display, including a 1966 AMC Marlin (L) owned by Terri and Wayne Schell of Tiverton and a Buick, at the Point Clark Lighthouse corn roast and antique car show Saturday evening at the foot of the lighthouse

Heavy rain and high wind failed to dampen the spirit of the small crowd that gathered for the Point Clark Lighthouse corn roast and antique car show Saturday evening at the foot of the lighthouse.

There were plenty of hot dogs and corn-on-the-cob to be had, and Lee Grant and Jim Hall provided wonderful entertainment inside the tent where it was nice and dry.

It was worth the trip in your rain gear just to see the lighthouse surrounded by scaffolding while restoration work continues on the structure owned by Parks Canada.
