Set up has begun to turn the Lucknow Soccer Fields into a showcase for Music in the Fields, the day-long country music concert Saturday, Aug. 27. Co-chairman Rick McMurray says the beer tent is located at the east edge of the site, with vendor tents along the west side, and the entire concert site fenced off. The stage was to arrive Thursday night and be set up Friday, he said, and on Saturday, concert headliner Blake Shelton's trucks arrive with more stage set-up plus lights and sound equipment. The stage will be located at the north end of the field. Parking is at Paul MacIntyre's field, with buses bringing people to the site, said McMurray. Camping is located north and east of the concert field, with 325 sites available. McMurray said the goal is to sell 6,000 tickets and the Kinsmen are well on their way to having half of those pre-sold.
