Oh my, what damage in Goderich. As far as we know now, none of 'our' folks had major damage, but Nancy and Paul Greenwood lost trees in their back yard and windows in their home. e are sorry for the loss of life of the fellow from Lucknow. Our sympathy goes out to June and Earl Elliott and family on the loss of Earl's brother, Everett, in Michigan. Some of the family will be travelling there for the funeral on Tuesday. Also, our thoughts and prayers are with Doris Rock and family on the death of Oraen. We are sorry to hear that some of our community are in the hospital. Get well quick. Some of our 4-H members participated in the Hanover Fair this weekend. Congratulations for all your hard work in helping make the fair a success. (Can't have a fair if no one participates.) We are all looking forward to the Lucknow, Ripley and Tiverton fairs in September. Ann and Andy Groenveld, Bette MacLeod and Joe Kieffer attended the Paisley Heritage Show and said it was another great display of our vintage farm equipment. Thanks, too, to all the ladies involved in the Ladies Program at the show. Mary Anne Kukoly visited with Joyce and Sandy McEwan for lunch one day last week. Sandy had lots of tales from his time in Papua, New Guinea.
