Threatening skies did not discourage 20 ladies as they teed off for the
Thursday, Sept 1st golfing at The Links at Piper’s Glen. Each
participate guessed the score they would get for the game prior to tee
off. After the game the winners were as follows:
Flight “A” with a perfect guess was Diane Pierce, followed by Lynn Grant and Linda Virgo being just 1 less than guessed and 4th had Bev Hudvagner with 1 over. Nice work girls. Flight “B” had Jan McIntee with the perfect guess. Three ladies were all -1 difference and placed by retrogression Mildred Smithurst, Deb Roth and Vi Scott. Well done. Long Drive #9 – Southampton Meat Market – Linda Virgo Long Putt #7 – Piper’s Glen Golf – Audrey Lamont Closest to Pin #6 – Legault’s – Lynn Grant Next week, Sept 8, we play Monkey golf.
