The Saugeen Memorial Hospital and Southampton Residents Association annual golf tourney was both a fun event and a great fund raiser.  The final money raised was as follows:

 

Money raised for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital*	$17,779
Money raised for the purposes of the Residents Association	$3000

The event has grown to be one of the most successful fund raisers in the area.  This year 119 golfers participated with volunteers making it both a fun event and enjoyable for golfers who are always interested in the competition.

It is one of the best organized scrambles and will again take place on August 9th, 2011. 

*The tourney raised $16053 for the hospital last year
