myFM hosts second annual Kincardine International Film Festival at Aztec Theatre

The myFM Kincardine International Film Festival,
sponsored by Bruce Telecom, returns for a second year
Sept. 9-11, at the Aztec Theatre in downtown Kincardine.

This year, the event will provide some of the finest independent cinema from around the world to Kincardine. The variety and quality of films to be screened will offer something for everyone while promoting tourism in beautiful Kincardine.

The closing night party will be held at the Bruce Steakhouse on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend. After the film, walk the red carpet, and enjoy a relaxing time with old and new friends!

Tickets are $10 per movie and available at the door one hour before show time. 2011 promises to be an extraordinary year for the film festival. 

 
The 2011 event offers award-winning films from around the world. Check out this year’s line up:
  • Friday, Sept. 9, at 9 p.m.: MIDNIGHT IN PARIS (US) PG
  • Saturday, Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m.: POTICHE (France) 14A
  • Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8:30 p.m.: THE FIRST GRADER (UK) PG
  • Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m.: CANADIAN KIDS DAY &
    CHILDREN’S SHORT FESTIVAL
    Sponsored by Kincardine Lions Club and the Bruce County Museum in Southampton. Both events are free for families!
