Just to update - we no longer have the open-air breakfast on the island as part of the fundraiser.  For the past two years there has been a wonderful breakfast prepared by members of the Propeller Club for the island "survivors" upon our return.  I need to say "wonderful" again - it is a great breakfast!

The weather this year was spectacular and the moon was full and bright.  We noted egrets, blue herons, hummingbirds, hawks and a lone bald eagle as still being on the island (along with cormorants and a few seagulls).  Our overnight stay has been a stargazing thing for the past couple of years and now I think we'll be into birdwatching from now on too!

Thank you.
