Scramble for the ladies at the Links at Piper’s Glen. Overcast,
wind, rain, thunder, lightening, hail and sun were the order of the day.
12 completed the 9 holes. All agreed that hail was the most
unusual golfing element.
... where is the ball? The team of Dorcas Majury, Marie Gomma, Rose Witteveen and Myra Smith posted a 38; Kathy Gilchrist, Gail Akerman, Cheryl Button and Bev Hudvagner had a 39 while Lee Anne Acernese, Marilyn Kyle, Vi Scott and Ilene Scott had 40. Congratulations for enduring the elements. They are dedicated golfers for sure.
