Michelle Hendry of the Snatchers lines up a swing at the Tiverton Ladies Baseball League tournament on the weekend

A dedication ceremony was held Sunday afternoon for the gates at the fairgrounds for the 150th annual Tiverton Fall Fair. The weather was wonderful, and Jamie Convay, president of the Tiverton Agricultural Society, conducted a great ceremony. Huron-Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell was also in attendance.

The Tiverton Ladies Baseball League pulled off another successful tournament with the Snatchers taking home the “A” Division where they played Uncle Bill’s team. The Family Ties lost the “B” Division against the Young Bucks, and Dave Beamish of Family Ties really tried. The final found the Buzzards coming out on top against the Bases Loaded team.
