Are we counting the days? Our 150th annual Tiverton Fall Fair will be here before you know it. Sept. 30 at 8 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, come and be part of the cheering gallery supporting our Ambassador contestants, and the Princes and Princesses. Also John Heaman will be entertaining us. The Midway offers a discount for an all-day pass, normally $24, for $21. All you do is go to our website and print off the discount coupon. The Kids Pedal Tractors (timed track) is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m., and the Kids Pedal Tractor Pull is at 2:30 p.m. Again, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday, in front of the Sports Centre. Tiverton Ladies Day Oct. 2 - Decorating Dilemmas? Need Cooking ideas? Want some exercise motivation? The Tiverton Agricultural Society Presents Heather Smillie, host of “Grin and Build It,” at the Tiverton Lions Hall, Sunday Oct. 2, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Decorating advice will be given to those who send current pictures, drawings and questions in advance to: convayfarms@brucetelecom.com . Also featured that day: cooking demos, wine-tasting from Pelee Island Wines, fraud and self-defence discussion along with an exercise demo and healthy eating discussion by Jen Dunbar. Plan to attend this fun-filled special afternoon just for the ladies! Peter Irwin (Elvis Tribute Artist) will be at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at $15 each. Tickets are also on sale for the Beef and Honey Ham Barbecue, Sunday evening, Oct. 2. Tickets are $15 each for adults, and $7 each for children ages six to 12, children under age five eat for free. The Interdenominational church service will be held in the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.
