Gregg McClelland, president of the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, was at Aintree Trailer Park Sept. 4 to accept a donation from the Quilters of Aintree. Each year the group gathers every Monday during the summer months and creates one full-size quilt and one crib quilt. Money is raised through the sale of raffle tickets on these two quilts. Thanks to the generous support of the residents of Aintree Trailer Park and the proprietors, Cathy and Jim Boyer, this endeavour has become a very successful annual event. This is the ninth consecutive year the Quilters of Aintree have donated the proceeds of their efforts to the Kincardine hospital foundation.
