Now we are counting down the days to the 150th annual Tiverton Agricultural Fair.

The parade route will be the same as in the past. Due to road conditions, there will be NO PARKING on Main Street by orders of the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO).

The parade is likely to be the longest Tiverton has ever seen. Many new floats will be entering. Watch for the float with the waving hands of 16 past ambassadors.

Regarding exhibits - enter something/anything in a category as seen in the Fair Book to be eligible for a cash prize. No Fair Book? Access it through our website - tivertonagsociety.com

Because there is so much excitement about the golf cart challenge, it was necessary to add another team from Kincardine council, hence another team from the Tiverton Agricultural Society. This event takes place right after the parade.

Tickets are still available for the Peter Irwin concert (Elvis), Sunday, Oct. 2, 1:30 p.m. at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre - $15.

Also for the Beef/Honey Ham BBQ, Sunday, Oct. 2, 5:30 p.m. at the Community Centre - $15 each for adults, $7 each for children ages six to 12, and free for children ages five and under.

Tickets will be available in the annex on Saturday, and at the door Sunday, ONLY if we are not sold out. Order now! Call Dianne, 519-368-7114, Audel, 519-368-7325, or Doreen 519-368-7768.

Join us Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 in celebration of this special event and remember to bring your non-perishable food items ("best before date" not expired) or a cash donation as your entry fee.

See you at the Fair!
