Ripley-Huron Community School has raised almost $500 in the Terry Fox Run and "Toonies for Terry."

Wednesday, teacher Cheryl Wilken led the assembly and shared some of the Terry Fox story to help students understand the significance of what they were working toward.

Everyone then went outside for a fun walk or run.

Students were asked to bring in a 'Toonie for Terry' and students had raised $478 by Wednesday, hoping to meet the $500 goal by  Friday.
