It was sunny, cold and windy for the 150th Tiverton Fall Fair, but the rain held off Saturday, allowing for a great day full of events.

The Lions Club held its pancake breakfast. There were numerous shows, including children's pets, poultry, miniature horses, and saddle horses, as well as a petting zoo and pony rides.

The highlight of the day, of course, was the magnificent parade which included the Teeswater Pipe Band, numerous floats, antique cars and tractors, teams of horses, the Tiverton fire truck and the Tiverton firefighters, the new ambassador of the fair, and the Prince and Princess of the fair, past ambassadors, the Traces Steel Band, the Bruce Shrine Club, and much more.

Another first for the fair, was the Golf Cart Challenge between members of Kincardine council and the Tiverton Agricultural Society. In teams of two, one steered the golf cart blindfolded, while his/her partner gave directions from a wagon behind the cart. It was very entertaining to watch each team try and navigate a course around several pylons.

Other activities included face-painting, demonstrations by the Kincardine District Secondary School Robotics Club, a rock climbing wall, Cloud Busters model airplane club, the Needle in a Haystack contest, the vote for the toughest, dirtiest tractor on display, the lawn and garden tractor pull, Farm Olympics, Jaws of Life demonstration, the "Moo Nick Lick" chance to try milking a cow, and the classic/antique car, truck and motorcycle show and shine,

"Late Nite Radio" was playing at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in the afternoon, and the day wrapped up with a dance to "Crazymaker" at night.

The fair continued Sunday with another full slate of events.
