Lucknow's Music in the Fields drew 4,500 people |

The third annual Music in the Fields country concert, sponsored by the Lucknow Kinsmen, was a success, drawing about 4,500 people. Co-chairman Rick McMurray says it raised enough money to make a sizeable donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and toward Lucknow street beautification.

The event also raised almost $15,000 for the Goderich Disaster Relief Fund, said McMurray. Through donations at Music in the Fields, $4,700 was raised, plus $5,000 from the truck pullers, and $5,000 from the Kinsmen. The Kinsmen are deeming the event such a success, that they are gearing up for the fourth annual Music in the Fields, slated for Aug. 25, 2012 at the Lucknow Soccer Fields.
