To the Editor: In response to Tom Podsiadlo’s letter which warns us that the NDP “shut down reactors during their term in office in the early '90s and they will do it again,” it was actually during Mike Harris’ PC government that the plug was pulled on Bruce A. Mike Harris became Ontario premier on June 26, 1995. Unit 2 was to be the first one laid up on Oct. 8, 1995. By April of 1998, all four Bruce A units were down along with all four Pickering A units. I’ll stick with the candidate who sticks to, and understands, all the issues which affect us here in Huron-Bruce, including nuclear. Thank you to Mr. Podsiadlo for providing an excellent example of the attack politics that Canadians are about fed up with. I’ll be voting for Grant Robertson on Oct. 6. Keith Cleveland
