Community Living's Jayne Hoffstetter happy with new thermal trays from Southampton Rotary for hot 'meals on wheels' program

Southampton Rotary Club has come through again with their recent donation to Community Living.

The volunteer-driven organization helps by providing 'meals on wheels' to residents unable to either cook for themselves or who, for one reason or another, cannot go grocery shopping.

Until the recent donation by Rotary, the 'hot-meals' deliveries have been made in very old trays but now, thanks to Southampton Rotary, new thermal trays will keep meals hot until delivery to those who need them.

The  24 'specialty' trays that were needed were provided with a donation of $1,594.55.

"We are thrilled," says Community Living's Co-ordinator, Jayne Hoffstetter.  "Our old trays were, I am sure, off the 'ark'! she laughs. "This will make a big difference for our clients."
