The 150th Tiverton Fall Fair started out a bit
damp on Friday but by Saturday the sun came out and the weather was just great. We had a full house, Friday night, for the
crowning of our
ambassador James Rice, the first boy to win the title in the fair's
history; and the crowning of Prince Josh Flood and Princess Nyah Beisel. Congratulations! The entertainment was the ever-popular John Heaman and his
wife, Geneva. The pie and cake auction, held Friday night, was a great
success with 13 pies and cakes auctioned off by Rodney Ribey. Thank you to all the people who participated
in this great fund-raiser. The best-behaved dog was awarded to Sonic owned by Shayleigh
Nolan. The shortest/ longest dog was owned
by Shayleigh Nolan. The cat with the
longest tail was Whiskers owned by Caprice Ricks and the hairiest cat was also
won by Whickers. Best dressed-alike pet
and owner was won by Hayley Woods and her rabbit. Best-groomed pet was owned by Annika VanVeen,
and the most unusual pet was a chinchilla owned by Lance Taylor. Congratulations! Parade Results: Floats with music - 1st place went
