RECREATION PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE THIS FALL

Standard First Aid & CPR Basic Rescuer
– Level C

Full first aid and complete CPR. Standard certificate valid for three years (CPR should be renewed yearly)
Nov. 12 and 13
Time: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Price: $135

BEGINNERS YOGA

Beginner yoga consists of:

  • Basic standing and sitting postures (asanas)
  • Sun Salutation, inversions and twist
  • breathing (pranayama)
  • meditation
  • proper alignment of postures and co-ordination of breath
Nov. 15 to Dec. 22

Days : Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-7:30 p.m. (12 total classes)
Location : Davidson Centre West Meeting Room of New Addition
Cost: $97

ADULT BASKETBALL

All adults are welcomed to come and play some basketball. No prior basketball experience necessary, just a desire to learn and try hard. Basketball is a fun way to maintain or begin an active life.

When: Thursdays
Time: 8:30-10 p.m.
Where: Kincardine District Secondary School
Program will be moved to new gymnasium when it opens.

 

SCRABBLE

Have fun while exercising your mind! Scrabble is a great game and beginners are welcome to this easy-going group!

When: Fridays
Time: 10 a.m.
Where: Davidson Centre (West Room of New Addition)

ADULT DAYTIME TABLE TENNIS

We are pleased to offer table tennis at the Davidson Centre Thursday mornings. Beginners are always welcome.

When: Thursdays
Time: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Where: Kincardine Davidson Centre Hall
$2 drop-in fee
