Like Santa's Workshop, Friends of the Library in Southampton were busy wrapping gifts for the annual lottery

Friends of the Library in Southampton were busy Friday morning (Nov. 4) wrapping Christmas gifts for their annual 'Santa's Sack Lottery'.

Friends of the Library, President Beth Jazvac, organized the ticket-drop jars

The lottery is held each Christmas to raise funds for projects in the Southampton library.

For only $2.00, visitors can purchase a set of 10 numbers which are then placed in containers adjacent to each wrapped gift.  Tickets can be placed in each jar or all in one jar, it is up to the purchaser.

For some, it is an ideal way to purchase a gift and support the library at the same time for a nominal cost.

The draw will be made on Friday, December 16th
