It's time to wear pink, have fun ... get fit ... and raise funds!
Holly Vanderzwet Holly Vanderzwet, owner of Fitness Corner in Port Elgin, is a 'ball of energy' who's latest project is a ZUMBA party! This is not just any party but will feature ZUMBA Trainer extraordinatire, Carlos Henriquez!
Carlos Henriquez Henriquez, originally from the Dominican Republic, moved to Canada and opened his own dance business. Based on styles that include Merengue, Salsa, Hip Hop, Ballet and Jazz among others, he has been a certified ZUMBA instructor since 2008. "This is a fun, musical exercise evening," says Vanderzwet. "If you have never danced in your life, you can still have fun at ZUMBA." The event will take place on Friday, November 11 at Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS) in Port Elgin and everyone is invited. All proceeds will go to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation Digital Mammography Campaign. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for students and are available at Fitness Corner in Port Elgin.
