The weekend before Remembrance Day on November 11th, has been filled with poignant ceremonies where  the presence of veterans reminds everyone of the sacrifices that have been made by Canada's service men and women.

At Southampton United Church on November 6th, several members of the Southampton Legion Branch #155 formed a 'Colour Party' and took part in the touching service.

These are the men and women who, when they were only teenagers, answered a call.  For some, it would be the last call for they would never come home.

This week, leading to November 11th, is a time not only of remembering those who once served but also ...  to honour today's young men and women who have sacrificed their youth and, in some cases, their lives.
