Chantry (seniors') Centre in Southampton held its annual 'elimination draw' on Friday, October 28th. The draw is held to help the seniors maintain the building and for any upgrades that may be needed.
The Big Winner! Debbie Roote wins $800 This year's big winner was Debbie Roote who won $800. "I bought the ticket at the CIBC in Southampton," says Roote, "and the money will definitely come in handy for Christmas." There were 17 winners in total, 15 draws for $25, 1 draw for $50 and, the major draw of $800.
