Get well wishes go out to Sharon Woods, hoping she is home from the hospital soon. Clothing orders for Tiverton Minor Sports will be taken until Nov. 21. Order forms are available at the booth in the arena. Display of the clothing will be there on Nov. 13. Joining the Forty List with his much, much older sister, Christi Broderick, is my younger brother, Billy Campbell. Wonderful that you have survived your sisters for this long, Billy! Chris and Cathy Smith travelled to Windsor this weekend to visit with their daughter, Caitlyn, as she is a second-year student in Early Childhood Education. The Tiverton Ministerial Association and The Tiverton and District Ratepayers' Association Inc. will be holding their annual Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Tiverton Cenotaph at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 11. If the weather is inclement, the service will be held in the Presbyterian Church. All residents are invited and a light lunch will be served following the service. The Tiverton and District Lions would like to extend an invitation to all Seniors (65 years of age and older) to attend their Christmas Dinner Friday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. This invitation is extended to those seniors living in Tiverton, Glammis, Inverhuron, as far north as North Bruce and south to the 5th of Kincardine Township . If you would like to attend and have not received a phone call from a Lions member by Nov. 22, please call Lion Brent at 519-368-5361 or Lion Rosemary at 519-368-7789. The Tiverton Agricultural Society will be selling a 2012 calendar commemorating the 150th Fall Fair. We hope to have them for sale at the Lions Bazaar Nov. 12 at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre. Orders will be taken at that time and calendars will also be sold by the directors.
