The Winterhawks came out flying against the Ripley tonight and spotted themselves a big lead after the first period. Shawn Walker scored twice and Curtis Johnston added a single for the Winterhawks to give them a 3-0 lead after the first. Brent MacDermid and Bryan Kazarian scored in the second period to make it 5-0 after 40 minutes.There was no scoring in the third period for a 5-0 final in Ripley. Josh Carolan recorded the win and the shutout in goal. Shawn Walker finished the night with 4 points (2G, 2A)
