From my point of view and MANY MANY others who read the Saugeen Times on line news .. we find it to be VERY INFORMATIVE and UP TO DATE.  Unlike the news papers that carry news that sometimes are a few days to weeks old, the Saugeen Times is there for US, the community. 

Many of the papers now are all ads and are VERY disorganized.  In fact, I contacted one of the papers because of the way they had their birthdays, obituaries, cards of thanks and then another birthday.  The poor family of this older person who's picture was also placed in the paper, looked like she had passed away.... and no correction was ever made.

A lot of us are totally fed up with the news "papers".  The Saugeen Times is the way to go.  Always so friendly, kind, caring and compassionate.  They go out of their way to get the news for us in a very timely manner and present it to us in a way that's informative, yet respects the people who they're also reporting on.

Congrats to the Saugeen Times staff on a job well done ... and many many more years of the great service to our communities.
